i'm really glad to see so many people with multiple rovers. Not only is it a good sign of the loyalty to the brand but also makes me feel like I'm not nuts for wanting another one. Not sure what i would do with a third vehicle but I'll figure that out if i find a good deal on one.

You're obviously smoking crack. I keep my Dodge because i am incapable of living without a pickup and it does a much better job of towing a trailer than my Rover. My hemi will maintain 60 up the hills with my 7000 pound trailer. Plus the Dodge gets better mileage than the Rover.

Here in yuppyville knows as Highlands Ranch, CO I can't keep my trailer at the house so it's about a 20 minute drive each way every time I need to use the trailer so having a pickup is really handy unless I need to get something big then I'll go get the trailer.

I have already decided that my next Rover is going to be a Range Rover, preferably a 4.6 HSE.

I dont even know why I still have my trailer, I use my FedEx van for 90% of my hauling.
Washer and dryer, lumber, hell, when I moved i didnt rent a truck, I used the van.
I even hooked my utility trailer to my van when I moved because I didnt have the Rover yet and had had to get rid of the Montero.
What a sight that was, a FedEx van with a loaded trailer hooked to it.
And the aboslute best thing about the van...Christmas shopping. Put the hazards on and park right in front of the door at the mall, no hunting for a parking spot.

I had to go through a refresher truck driving course when I started my current job. Most of the guys that started at the same time had never driven a truck so were getting trained to pass the CDL test (which is a lot different than being trained to drive a truck). The instructors hated me when it came time for the guys to learn to parallel park a tractor trailer and I told them in the real world you're not going to parallel park because 1. you'll never get out and 2. it's easier to just put the four-ways on and stop right in the lane of traffic. I've done the delivery thing and know how it works. Of course now I have been driving a tractor trailer long enough that I turn the wheel to maneuver the trailer even when I don't have a trailer. I look like an idiot turning the wheel the wrong way backing a trailer, it's even worse without a trailer.

I also have a 2003 with 113k+ miles and have had no problems whatsoever out of it. Course, I've only owned it for 3 months so far.

With 113k on it you should be well passed where you are going to experience the problems with the oil pump. Did you get any history with the vehicle to find out if the previous owner had the engine replaced.
