How to confirm Secondary Air on Series II?
I have a 02 Series II SE and need a head gasket replacement. While discussing repairs (via phone) with a Rover mech with a well respected reputation, he asked me whether the vehicle had secondary air. I did not have the car in front of me during our brief conversation, but he indicated that there would be gold pipes running to/from (I believe) the intake manifold.
I subsequently checked the vehicle, am I could not find the described pipes. But, to be honest, I was not sure which side of the vehicle or exactly where I should be looking.
Any other pointers, so that I can confirm that my vehicle has or does not have secondary air?
Thanks. The mech is a good distance away from where I reside and is not interested in doing a HD replacement on a Series II equipped with secondary air.

Well, I'm at work and its my wife's vehicle, but I'm pretty sure its the non secondary air. I'll check when I get home this evening. Thanks for asking.
