Default How do I get rid of this extra airbag?

Assuming tossing it in the weekly garbage isn’t an option. Works great, just found one from a donor disco with a better paint situation.

Paint it, put it on ebay, or the forum marketplace.

or if you want to have fun and trash it, set it off. 30 feet of speaker wire hooked up to both terminals and touched to a 12v battery will send it flying.

I've had it on CL for free for almost 6 months and never a bite.

Nothing quite prepares you for the violence of an airbag deployment, my shop teacher in HS set one off for us and it was like a shotgun going off. I think all of those commercials condition us to imagine it as a big puffy pillow (which in a crash I'm sure it is!) but be really safe if you are going to "dispose" of it by setting it off!
