How to install oil separator
#1
#2
It is a tight fit going in. I cleaned the caked on gunk from the inside of the tube with some brake cleaner and a toothbrush, then lubricated the new separator with some engine oil. I figure its job is to keep oil from the intake, so getting a little bit of oil on it during installation wouldn't hurt anything

Oil Separator Installed. Here it is !
It is tight, some thin oil did help along with tapping it ever so lightly.
Here are some pictures for those of you that were like me just a few month ago...I was a complete newbie, but its coming along.

On the Right Bank "Passenger side" Rocker Cover " Valve Cover" there is nipple, that's where it goes. See the pictures below...Good luck !
I'll be posting threads about my challenges and conquest of my overhaul.
Thank you all again !

After a few challenges with the truck not wanting to start ...I replaced the Crank P Sensor and I bang on the top of the Fuel Pump for a few minutes with a rubber hammer ...Now it is starting every time...BUT
I know there is always a but, I have code PO308 and also a water drip, that I have no idea where is coming from....
I see it drip down from the small two hoses underneath the passenger side of the truck...
The temperature stays in the middle of gage...I don't wait for it to go higher, should I wait to see if the temp goes any higher ? Please help with this...!
Also any idea of where this water is coming from ?
It is water cause I'm using distilled water to see for drips...then Im going to flush the system a few times since it had a blown HG before...I'm also going to put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the oil and in the gas to make sure the rings get some TLC...that I hope should help...
Please I welcome any other suggestion...
It has taken me over 17 month to get to this point...and this time a few other weeks or month ...would not matter...This has become a labor of Love or my Trophy Wife...LOL
Thank you all ...without you, I would have never jump into this task...
No regrets...
Much oblige
