Default How much should I sell my disco 2 for?

Hi I wanted to sell my disco 2 and was wondering what's a good ballpark figure to ask? It's a 1999 disco 2, runs good, HID lights, new plugs, wires, akebono pads, new rotors front/back, new water pump, drive shaft, Hannibal rack, ladder, Diff guards, 193,000 miles. Oil changed every 3500 miles, new tranny oil, filter, no 3 amigos, no dents, small scratches here and there and front and back bumper have cracks. Seats all work, no holes. List goes on but too many to list will post pics shortly.

www.stateseek.com will let you search craigslist for all things Disco in a certain state, to show you the market. Drive shaft and a "negative" chemical test for exhaust gas in coolant are a plus. As would be normal temp ranges, no ticking, oil PSI readings of "X", etc.

I think you could get 5k for it, but if you are selling it to someone who doesn't appriciete all those repairs and fixes like the driveshaft it'll be a hard sale.

All depends on the market where you live.
Why are you selling?

you are better off selling the rack, ladder and diff guards separate from the truck. You can get $600 for the rack and another $50 for the ladder then depending on what diff guards you have maybe another $50.

The truck sadly doesn't hold the value like the off road bits. I would say $2500 is what you should ask. $2000 is what you should expect

i'm picking up a 2006 lr3 in 2 weeks down in North Carolina. I found a great deal for under $16,000 and 89000 miles. Fully loaded HSE, with heavy duty package, nav, etc... I also got a 5 year 100,000 extended warranty for $1500. So all in all with flight from ri to NC, taxes, etc... about $19000.
