during my fire,

the handbrake cable snapped from the heat and tension, the rave states that i must remove the handbrake drum at the back of the tranny/tc forward of the rear DS.

i have the DS out but the phillips screw that acts as a set screw for the position of the drum has a stripped head (before i even touched it, i made it worse after

The drum securing screw is mainly to hold it in place for driveshaft removal / refit, once the drive shaft is fitted it will hold it all together, much like the securing screws on the brake discs.

I would just drill and "eazy out" it.
