Like the title says, what size D-Shackles would you install under the D2 and how are they measured for size when you go to purchase them? I see where they could be installed on the rear undercarriage, can you add some to the front undercarriage? where?

Also, should this be something that is in an emergency kit to add when needed or would that be too late? So, should they be installed as basically permanent part of your D2?

 

If you have a tow hitch, just get a receiver shackle bracket for the rear, and for the front, well its always going to be difficult with a factory bumper.

Any shackles you use should be a MIN 3-1/4 ton rated.
