How the south treats a yankee...
This is now the second time someone has hit me and not left insurance info. I am told that the south has the largest number of uninsured motorists in the nation. I guess the last 2 that hit me where amongst them. Now it is Steel bumper time! Really liking this one..

Those robbin' bastids. Of course they may have had insurance and don't want their rates to go up. I got rear ended and had a little crack in the plastic bumper of my car, and the other driver's Allstate wrote a check for $1051.08, they said older plastic can't be repaired because it is so brittle.

Yep, and SWMBO won't see that check... It is the bumper of my 93 Mercedes convertible. I bought the car for $2,000; sold my tired old Mercedes wagon (303K, needed HG and tranny) for $450, now this insurance check. At this point, I have $499 in the car....

my rover got hit in the parking lot at work last week. i would have settled for just an apology note, even with no info.
on the good side, my rover won. a scuffed bumper and a cracked tail light on the bumper, vs. they clearly lost there entire headlight and turn signal. lots of broken other car left on the ground.

Yep same thing happened to me first day of the semester at University of SOUTH Carolina. I think at the time I still had my out of state Florida tags on the LR.
I was pretty pissed!!! I walked through the ENTIRE parking lot looking at each bumper and also the sides of the cars (it looks like they side swiped me). I was going to do some damage had I found the car that did a hit and run on my Disco. Its probly best I wasnt able to find that person's car.
