Default How would this make my wipers stop working?

So I put a little fuse tap onto Fuse 26 to feed my oil pressure gauge switched power. If the fuse is in one slot (of the two available) the gauge works but the wipers don't. And if I put the fuse in the other slot, the wipers work but the gauge doesn't. I feel like it shouldn't be this complicated. Do I just have a bad dongle?

The other one in this photo (the left one) works great. It's connected to the headlight fuse to give a dimming signal to the gauge when the lights are turned on.

Ideas?

Goddammit lol, sometimes I feel like the stupidest person on this form. Both slots need fuses. All works well.
