Another thing to consider is the shipping cost and the possibilities and cost of using the warranty.

If you have to use the warranty once, that is shipping to the UK and then back from the UK. Plus the downtime associated. This is on top of the initial shipping from the UK on the new engine.

What are we talking about? $500 each way across the pond?

you could ship it back a few times and still be ahead of any one price in the states,
not to mention they have a better warrantee than anyone in the states

My immediate interest is peaked. I maybe needing one sooner rather than later.

The 4.0 wouldn't have SAI would it?

I agree with the swapping lower power for durability as well. I've never driven a 4.6 DII so I don't know how much of a difference there is in the feel of power between the 4.0 and 4.6.

I would deal with the shipping before I ever considered going with Cannibal. They seem to be hit or miss for some.

I think SAI was a North American thing.

we could email and see about a group buy and what kind of price break we could see. I currently don't need a motor though, but I'm tempted since I have a taping noise in the 4.0

I think I am game if we figure out the SAI thing, even if that means swapping out a ECU, as long as everybody promises to walk me thru the pain!
