Huge oil leak
Charlie, no, thank you for the idea about the oil sender. It made perfect sense, and that seems to be a common cause of big leaks.
Good idea about the RTV. I used some RTV on top of the gasket when I put it on, but I literally took the front cover off and on about fifteen times, trying to get that oil pump to slide on to the crank, and probably lost my RTV application, besides the front gasket falling to pieces from sticking and resticking so many times.
So you leave the front cover gasket off entirely and just use RTV?? I've been using Hylomar Blue Universal, just ordered another tube. Seems to be working really well on everything else.

I use Hylomar in a few places but I think it stays a little too soft for the front cover.
Impressed with your engine's cleanliness. Can't see enough from video for the source of oil and serious oil leak.
My only similar serious potentially damaging leak occurred shortly after doing an oil/filter change. Started hearing valve noise sans the oil oil light, saw leak beneath, added a couple of quarts of oil and made it back home. Had opted to purchase a lesser priced filter that either had old hard gasket due to being older stock or just poor quality sealing from the get/go. That went in trash and replaced with better filter. No issues for at least the next 100k miles.
Unlikely to be source of your leak but has happened. Wish you well getting leak sorted out.

All right, I'm going to try this front cover without the paper gasket and see what happens... I ordered The Right Stuff to put on there, have you used that? Supposed to work great, we'll see I guess.
It's a Royal Purple 20-253. Thanks for the tip on the WIX!
number9, yeah, I cleaned the crap out of my oil pan and front cover when I had them off so I could spot leaks in the future, used a pack of dollar tree toothbrushes and some heavy duty degreaser mixed in a spray bottle, plus a mask from my work to keep the fumes at bay. It doesn't look like it's the oil filter, it comes from above it.
I also just want to clarify, the oil sender IS the same as the oil pressure switch, right?

Haha I was gonna say RP first before Bosch. I've ran them before, but they aren't very common to find (Pepboys was the only place I could find em). Anything vs a FRAM filter is good in my book and I always use the larger PH8A size vs the PH16 size (using FRAM P/N's for reference only).
Yeah that is indeed a crazy oil leak. I'd remove the radiator shroud, fan clutch/fan blade, and really really wipe it down to pin point the source of the leak. Good luck and report back.

The right stuff is expensive but it is the best. I've been told that after it cures you don't even need bolts. I wouldn't test that.
If you are using rp filters then I don't want to influence your choice. Wix are great filters and the 51459 is at least double the size (but fits) so it keeps oil pressure nice and high. But I've never used a rp filter.

Is the Wix the same as the NAPA 1515?
I don't know. When I settled on the wix. 51459 I checked the relief valve pressure, etc. Wix had a couple the same size and they had different pressure ratings. So I'm not sure but if the Napa one is the same I'd like to know because it is probably cheaper.
Charlie, would you put The Right Stuff on both the front cover and surface of the engine, or just the front cover?
Dropped the oil pan last night after work, front cover tonight. Right Stuff should be in by Monday to finish the job. Boy I do not want to have to take everything apart again after this, not only for the pain in the butt and the hours, but also the $70 just for new coolant, oil and an oil pan gasket!
