When I open the switch a humming sound comes from behind the Speedometer and Odometer....... any ideas on what it might be??

If you look just to the left of the steering wheel, you'll see a small fan mounted behind perforations.... I believe this is for the Auto Climate.

Mine is a little loud too - might just shoot some canned air at it.
