Default Hurricane Harvey and Best4x4

All, I know this is off-topic and there is an Off-Topic forum, but this is where most of us hang out most of the time.

I'm concerned about Best4x4 and his family. His town, Beaumont, TX, has been hard hit since he last posted. As I understand it the muni water supply there is offline. And although all of us here care about our Rovers I trust we all understand they are secondary to the things that really matter.

So let's all pray that Best is okay. And although it would be sad if his Rovers succumbed to Hurricane Harvey I know it's more important to know that Best and his family are okay.

Are any of the others active on this forum in the Houston or other affected areas?

Please weigh in if any of the rest of you are in the Beaumont area or know Best.

Heard on the radio this morning that his area was getting some bad weather, water system issues and flooding.

Hope he and his loved ones are safe and out of harms way.

Brian.

Definitely hope he and his family were ok. Not that there's much I can do, but if there's anything anyone in the area needs that I may be able to help with I'd love to. My heart goes out to all the people in that area.

When you think of it logically, most of the utilities will be out of action in Tx coastal areas so it's very difficult to communicate. Also I'm sure he's pretty busy there with a multitude of problems and the last thought on his mind will be this forum. So I'm sure he's safe as he's resourceful so don't get too concerned just yet.

Same here. He definitely seems like someone who would be of great value in a situation like this.

I think he posted this before about the flood reaching his garage. Not sure how much more water after they had after the post. HERE
