Thanks for the duct tape suggestion. I think it would have worked had it not been raining, but I was able to secure the broken glass with it. I ended up using baling twine to holdthe lightin place. Finally got in touch with husband and he said that should be safe.

 

There isn't a problem in the world that can't be fixed with a little duct tape and bailing wire....
