You can fit hydro assist on the D2 with no drilling and tapping at all. I don't 100% remember exactly where to put them, but you just toss a t fitting (or two) on the box and it'll redirect ps fluid to it and it'll work great. Someone did a write up on the AU forum but all the pictures are expired.

Zack, Frank is running full hydro, not assist, also.

that's what I thought at first glance. t on line and t from bleed valve. it looks like it would be that simple. still need to figure out how to "turn it up, man"

i'm not opposed to full, but asst. seems easier

I'm not sure how to actually turn it up, I'm not sure that you have to, it was never mentioned in the thread's I have read about it. Because the ram should have nearly the same pressure as the box, so in theory it should still assist your steering.

I'm not 100% positive about that, but I'm interested hydro asst myself, I can't image how sluggish my steering will be on 35s.

can anyone link me to frank's set up, if there is a thread or something? can't find it and dweb has my new account in some kind of activation holding pattern.... can't search it. google is not panning out.
lr4x4 has some talk of stretching some spring.....dunno. but it would be cool not to have to mess with that.
