The only stupid question is the one not asked.

Yes the DI is smaller than a DII, by 12" in length and 6" in width.
Same wheel base (100"), but the track is wider and the body is longer on the DII.

And remember that the truck in that video has street tires and is still 100% stock.

Interesting read and reaffirms my affinity for cast iron blocks

This said, buying the Disco is really less about pragmatism and more about doing something to make me happy. If I have to drop in a new motor, that would be fun too

That was my point for you, what these trucks can do in stock form.

The Defender is the same as a DI.
