Ours certainly used to be cheaper but we've started getting them made by a driveline shop out west, they are amazingly built, all spicer everywhere.

Center diff locked D2 on 33s or so in a rock garden. Believe it caught too much traction on a rock and all that energy had to go somewhere! Guy's name is Don.

Part# Application Front Price/$
GBR9902 Discovery 2, 1999 - 2002 374.95
GBR0304 Discovery 2, 2003/04 374.95
Factory Discovery 2 front driveshafts are a very high quality shaft. The premature failure issue with them is related to excessive heat, not the quality of the component. Upgrading them is frequently the most cost effective alternative to outright replacement. Our driveshafts are fully serviceable, incl. u-joints and centering kits - GBR Exclusive.

From their website. unless you want the Heavy duty...
