joking of course.
I lost the trail, took a wrong turn. thought I was hoping back on the trail. instead I took a nose dive into the colorado river
the 3' of sandy clay mud, proved to be too much to handle.
she winched out and made it 8hrs home, just fine. I think I got better gas mileage in a 2wheel drive disco

parts arrived today. she has been hiding in the darkness of the garage, for over a week. but today, with parts in hand, I finally mustered the courage to face her, again. I am sure that, in time, she will forgive me. and I should probably stuff her stocking with more off road lights

it was due to my efforts, to get going. tried to get it moving, again. that is when a lot of popping, a little chattering, and a "rearing" sound took place. the bumper took the brunt of the impact, it was pretty steep. when I lost both of my boots I realized that that stuff was like concrete, that had almost set up.
