Ours has been our daily driver since we bought it 6 years ago. 3 years in NYC stop and go madness and 3 years in the country with long commutes. Never broke down (limped once or twice). The truck is reliable enough now that I let my wife drive it to work without worry (her commute is shorter than mine).

Default Daily...

I drove mine every day for 6 months on my 100 mile round trip commute up and down I-5, never once had a problem except for a shrinking wallet. I have to get my fix driving it on the weekends.

Now my wife drives it 7-8 miles daily between home and the park-n-ride. The only time it gave her any issue was going into "limp mode" in our neighborhood because of a bad battery.

We bought it last summer as a 3rd car and after driving it for about a week we discovered that it was so nice that it's now our #1 car. It's our DD, and we've put over 4k miles on it in the past 3 months.

After MAR, my wife decided that she loves it so much that she has started shopping for another Rover for us so that I don't bang the D2 up off road. The only question is how much I'll have to spend, and whether Rover #2 will be a Series truck or another Disco...

Default Gas, Gas, Gas

Mine is a daily driver, 45 per day...I also use it to go camping in maine so about 1000 mikes total, twice a year. Bought it in March have put about 7K on it.

Runs like a champ, although the magnetic stripe on my ATM card is starting to wear away from use...

i take my truck out once a week for about 10 - 20 miles. was using it as a DD before i got a more fuel efficent ford to get back and forth to work (28 miles RT). I do want to get another one maybe a RR Classic and use that as a DD because I do love the damn things and i miss it when i am driving the Ford.

Drove her to TX back in May, 2400 miles in 3.5 days with zero problems.
