I goofed up the door lock actuator install, what did I do wrong?

The weather might be good enough again tomorrow that I’ll see if I can sort this out. I’ll report back if it is there as I think it will be and if goofed up I’ll present what I do to resolve.

GOT IT! It took literally 10 minutes to include getting tools out.
If you look in the pics, you can see the rod dangling down just a bit.
It’s hard to see in the second pic, but it’s the lighter color grey in there. I just took a pic that fit in the door handle screw hole and was able to line it up and all good. It took a couple tries and I was VERY gentle with everything, and it worked PERFECT.
Carry on with regularly scheduled programming.
