I have an 02 Disco that I have been gaining entry to with a manual key for the past 4 yrs. The previous owner had a key fob that was somewhat broken that I never used. Two days ago I opened the door of the vehicle sat my hand down on the lock on the inside of the car and now it won't open with a key. I have to use the crappy key fob now. I have ordered a replacement but can't get the door lock to budge manually. I stick the key in the door and it won't even move. It acts like it's the wrong key. I have a couple more cut that I tried also with no luck. Any clues as to whats going on or do I just need a new key lock. I've sprayed some teflon lube in it also with no luck.
Any advice would be great.
