I got a big problem i think
I'm due for al oil change right now but i have no time til next week. No problem there. But today i go and check my engine oil level and when i pulled the dipstick out i was just about full and the oil was okay looking not perfect but okay for 3000 miles. When i wiped the dipstick off there was a small amount of metal shavings on it. I mean a couple of peices enough to notice. Any ideas on if this is normal or something to really worry about, i'm going for the latter one of the two for now. Help please it's only a 99 Disco II with 118 on it and up to 100k dealer maintained then i bought it. Thanks
metal on your dipstick... good luck with that. You definitely have something to worry about. mine is prolly not to far behind yours. If you don't know rover engines are REAL expensive.
