Default I have a feeling my disco is running rich.

Is there any way to find out whether it is or isn't? I have no check engine light.

Other than doing a emissions test, no, not that I know of.

A drop an MPG is usually an early sign, so check that out. You will probally throw a code eventually, thats what mine did. Your MAF might be going out the door.

With no light on it is not running rich. Why do you think it is?

Check the bulbs in your dash. Make sure none are blown or removed. Like Mike said, if it were running rich it would put a light up on the dash.

O2 sensors should throw a code if it's running rich, what makes you think it is? Using mass quantities of gas is normal, unfortunately.

Why are you thinking you need to find the idle control unit??
You don't really want to mess with it.
