Running rich

May I have definition?

 

anne, ideally you want an air/fuel ratio of 14.7:1 . If the ratio is off and using more fuel than that it is said to be 'running rich' if it's off and using more air than that ratio it is 'running lean'

 

Thanks for the definition...are there other indicators that something is wrong besides a loss in mpg?

 

Running rich means using more gas than is necassary.

 

Check engine light, just knowing your girl, how she normally acts/runs.
Just like you noticed the hard starting in the morning because of the cheap gas.
Become one with your Rover, know her inside and out. Care for her, love her and Irma will love you back.

 

Should we get your and your Rover a room Spike? I completely agree with what you said but I've never heard said that way.

 

HAHAHA Spike, you should start teaching one of those "Mother in training" type of classes, except do it with rover owners. I could see it now......

 

We already have a one room space that we get toghether in once in awhile.
I take a soft cloth and some special lotion and massage her supple insides every 3 months or so, I have a special lube that I buy only for her.
I crawl under her and feel around and take a really close look, I feel dirty when I am done, I know I shouldnt, but I do. I am kinda shy when it comes to being so intimate, she likes that about me though. I try and be gentle, sometimes sheneeds it rough though.
She doesnt need to ask me for much, I know her well enough that I cautch her hints, you know the kind. The silent but you better know what I mean kind of body language.
She is good to me, better than I deserve and for that I am very grateful. I do my best to love, cherish and provide for her.

I really think you need to get out of the garage once and a while Spike. I laughed so hard at that I couldn't even think of a response. Bet your wife gets jealous of you giving the Rover so much attention.
