Well guys, I have a 1996 Doscovery I with 122K on it. Recently it started idling wierd or not at all. When warm it would sometimes just quit or idel really low unless I stepped on it to keep the idle up. I thought it was the stepper motor being dirty so I cleaned it all and it did not work. So one day when it was idling ok I disconnected the stepper motor and since then it has idles fine once warm. I replaced the stepper motor and it did not fix the problem. But when disconnected, it all diles fine once warm. I can't understand this one! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
