i think you will be ok as long as its not a filthy mess and you have the box and receipt still in tact.

 

They have the box because I handed them the core and he asked if they could keep the box, I said sure. Like has been said I should have known the price was to low, I did not even check online because I was not planing on replacing it until I saw it leaking from the weep hole when things were going back together. I called there first so that I could get the thing back together and when the price seemed fair I did not think about it again.

 

I had my heads done at a Indy shop--they put in the dealer water pump too. Yep. $500 for the Flarcking thing.

 

with a wheel chair you will now have 2 solid legs to stand on.
Roll on in and plop that 500.00 dollar WP on the counter and ask them to return this part as you found one for 145.00.
If they give you any problems point out how you feel they have taken advantage of a disabled person and you want to see the manager. This should put things right, goodluck

 

The 500 is after the $80 dolor core was taken off!

That really sucks that this happened to you.

I mailed a small box at the USPS a few years back and it was closing time on a Sat and I just signed the reciept without looking and once I got home I paid $325 to mail a box that was supposed to be $3.25.
She moved the decimal, I got my money back on Mon. but man oh man was I pissed at myself for being a idiot.

 

Can't speak for your LR dealer, but mine has always been decent to me. My guess would be they will do the right thing. Nobody likes a pissed customer in the lobby.

They took it back with out charging me a restocking fee. I have one on the way from AB. I am so glad this ended up working out, it is just a bummer that I did not get the new pump on order last week so I could get the thing back together.
