I just moved my rover to NJ with me. It had been in florida and I did all the work myself on it. Now I do not have the space or tools to do it and was wondering if anyone knew of a good shop that they could send me. I need to have a few things checked out.
Thanks

Hoboken is a great place to live, I don't feel sorry for you. I took my Jeep to a shop in Bayonne to get some fairly minor work done. The guy seemed pretty knowledgable and fair, I was happy. I would feel comfortable taking it there. If I had my Jeep here right now I could tell you the name of it, it was located near Prospect Ave. and E 28th - right around the corner from there within a few blocks at least. This was a few years ago though.

No problem. I know what it's like trying to find a good garage down there. I'm almost positive it was called Midtown Auto. There's two of them though - the other one is in uptown Bayonne, I never went to that one though. I think thattwoplaces are run by brothers. The one I noted downtown was just a small garage with one mechanic. I'm sure that he could handle anygeneric things like u-joints.If not, he'll know somebody else who's honest. It's an easy trip back to Hoboken on the PATH if you drop it off. This wasat leastfive years ago though... so who knows.
BTW - make sure that you go to The Scotland Yard in Hoboken, especially at happy hour on Saturday for the Blues Jam. Great people and great music.
