hey guys... my rack is almost complete and i need to start welding the roof rack mounts... but i dont have any...


my home rack looks alot like a G4 rack... and i need mounts like hose low to the gutter kind.... where do i get them

That's going to be a tough one. I am assuming you will have to fab them. Can you take pictures of what you have so far so we might be able to come up with some ideas?

I have 1 home-made one on my trail rig but I already had 3 so it was much easier to just copy them.


Take some pics and if I think it would help after seeing those I will take a couple pictures of the one I made.

 

can you take a pic of your mounts please up close as possible

 

dealer or atlantic british will have mounts.

I know LR used to sell all the hardware for them at a pretty penny but it worked the first time.

 

Yep I will tonight, but I just saw the pictures of your rack and I doubt that the way I did mine will work for your rack, but still may give you an idea. I will also tak some pictures of the mounts on my SD rack too.
