Default I need some help installing a SIMBAR brush bar.

Does anyone know how to properly install this brush guard? The instructions say to, Step 1: "remove chassis leg bolts" I guess I dont even know where to start.. Any help would be appreciated. This is for an '00 Disco II. Thanks!

Well its not that hard. You have to get under your truck and get dirty. Look around at the front of your frame. Remove the tow hook and the cover plate on the drivers side and that is where your bracket goes. Same kinda thing on the pass side but you have to cut a slot in your plastic bumper. Should be two long bolts on each side, take them out, install your brackets, replace the bolts. Its a PITA but worth it.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Alright so it seems the atlantic british brush guard (by simbars) has an entirely different bracket setup than the factory. These brackets dont require any cutting and hang beneath the car right behind the bumper. The extra U-support had to be removed but the tow eye remains. My brush guard is on now but with pressure you can move it up and down. The instructions for the strut supports illustrate the struts going straight across the bracket to the bar. Mine has quite an angle to achieve this though so I dont know if or what iv'e done wrong.
