you had rockers and push-rods supplying pressure to the new lifter, putting pressure on new soft cam lobes, there is a possibly their could have damaged the new cam or one of the new lifters.
it not the first time a engine was started up with the wrong firing order 180 off happen all the time with new cams; but they don't leave it running like that for the whole cam break in period.
I was a little worried about myself, but research says that there's no way it could've been hurt. Whew, thank goodness.
