I am changing transfer cases on Sat. Got any good tips or asvice?

What is wrong with your t/case?

 

I have a crack about 2mm wide 8cm long on the tail end of the transfer housing,next to the e-brake drum. I so not know what caused this. The crack was protected by the crossmember. Maybe the bearing there got hot and craked the housing. I have know idea. I found a used tranfercase and should have it in tomorrow. I have a procedure digram for it, but I always appreciate your advice Disco Mike.
