I just bought my landrover discovery, it's a 2001 with 121,000 miles. I was driving it and I heard a slapping noise, I thought it was my tires but then when I stopped it wouldn't go anywhere, I had it towed home the driver said not transmisssion becasue it won't stay in any gears but when in 4wheeldrive, so I have emergency break on .
