Default Brakes - I think I need rotors...which ones?

When I'm going about 60 mph and go to brake, my steering wheels shakes like a champ on my 2001 Disco II SE7....I'm assuming my rotors much be warped. It doesn't do it when I break at lower speeds, but typically over 50 mph. That said, what type of rotors do you all recommend?

Also, I posted one other question last week but have not gotten any replies, so just in case, does anyone know what would be the cause of the issue that I'm having with my rear jump seats - one is locked down and won't open (so no one can sit in the seat) and the other, the seat back just flops up and down - will NOT lock in place. Maybe the cables are bad? Thanks in advance -

Hello, I just did a full brake job to my 2003 disco and used these rotors with autozone duralast pads... The reason I purchased these rotors is there was a guy that works at the local autozone who had a 02 disco and had purchased these for his but the bank took the vehicle and he offered these to me for 100 bucks for all four... I have no issues of noise or wheel wobble at all... the pads are lifetime pads and cost me just under 70 bucks... I would give these a whirl

how many miles are on your truck?

these are great pads and rotors, very little brake dust and will last a long time. the brake dust on cheaper brake pads can mess with your ABS system and trigger the three amigos.

if you want to save a little check out this kit.

hope this helps.

Yeah, I would go with one of the Atlantic British Kits. I have ran EBC's for 50K now. They grip tight, are a lot lower on dust, and they last.

Don't put too much trust in a post that starts with " I just". those parts have not been tested. ATB's kits are good. I tried the Autozone pads because they stopped selling the ceramics. They belched dust, and they will mess up your ABS eventually.

If you want a deal call will tillery. Not sure what he is selling these days but for $275 I got pads and rotors all around. Like most metallic pads they are dusty at first but then settle down. Not as fancy as the EBC packages but stop well for a couple hunfred less.

Thanks for the info - I know that Will Tillery (Roverguy.com) can offer some pretty good prices on stuff, so I'll give him a call. The AB brake set prices are pretty high for me right now - just FYI if anyone is looking for new/used parts, Will is the way to go. Thanks for your input - I definitely don't want any ABS issues!
