Drivers side front (USA) I think its a ball joint, but when I goto order it It list left or right version upper and lower... Is that left standing looking at the front of the truck or left sitting in the divers seat... I'm terrible identifying suspension parts.

 

That is the short , replaciable end of your tie rod.
Have you tested the other side also, it may be gone also in which case you order the entire front tie rod assembly.
