Driving home after a wicked off-road expedition on RT. 476 and my idler pulley grenaded leaving me stranded on the side of the highway. Made my way to a local Advanced Auto and found a similar pulley on the shelf, was good enough to get me another 15 miles home (and then some).


I found a couple and am not sure which one I need, 70mm or 80mm. See attached photo, circled the pulley I need.





In case someone needs that emergency pulley it's a, Dayco part number 89052 (size: 70mm). But, you "may" need to place a little spacer in between the engine block bracket and pulley to give you proper clearance. I had a piece left over from the damaged pulley, and placed it inside the bearing, similar to a bushing. Viewing the first picture below, that part will face towards the engine block and where you put the "bushing".

That is the 70mm pulley. You can get a new metal one from Rovahfarm for $20.

To 80mm is the one by the ps pump and ac compressor.
