If the key turns the door lock cylinder normally, then I don't think the key or possibly the lock cylinder is the problem. It's time to pull the door panel, and see what isn't moving when you turn the key in the door lock.

You could buy a brand new lock cylinder and key from Land Rover, but if all you do is stick it in the hole in the door handle, and don't make the attachments to the backside, you could turn it until you're blue in the face and it will not unlock.

i changed the actuator and now key doesnt turn at all, and when i try to lock/unlock the car with the controller, it still doesnt work. all the other doors lock/unlock with the controller except the drivers. can someone please help
