Default Ignition keys

Hello, I just brought a discovery td5 of 2003 snd it has a ignition lock changed. It has a common key (no key fob remote) to start it with and the original key with original key fob hanged with it, and fits the doorlock. The hanged key fob works well with the door locks but. My problem that for everystart I should press the key fob so the car could recognize me . This is boring. My question is " if i change the ignition lock and the doors handle lock that are paired with the ones one the car and keep the cars key fob will it eork good? Thanks

Yes. If you get a used set of ignition and door locks with matching keyfob, you can swap the electronics from your fob.
