Default I'm LEAN....

Hi all...

CEL came on and says "left bank 1 running LEAN". I forgot the actual number of the code.

Any thoughts on first plan of attack? Seafoam, special injector cleaner, other gas treatment,
or none of he above.

Any thoughts?

Jeff

I wish I were.
How many miles on your truck, what has been done tune wise? What type of air filter are you using and is it dirty, right now?

Well, 128K on the clock, new plugs, LR filter, and yea it is kinda dirty. I didn't really know how dirty until I took both of my bumpers off yesterday. I always spray it down after off-roading but I guess I wasn't doing as good a job as I thought.

Well it could be a vacum leak, a bad O2 or bad MAF.
A clogged air filter will cause a to rich code.

When I got a lean code it was my o2 sensor, but it also threw an o2 sensor code as well.
