New Disco II owner here. Looking for recommendations for inexpensive side steps or running boards. My wife has a hard time climbing into our 2000 Discovery, and I'd like to add some steps/boards. Was looking at the Onki Volcanos (64"), but can't find much first-hand info online.

find some used Discovery 1 running boards. I think they look better than D2 and are a direct fit. I have a set in CA I can sell.

The ones I like are the stainless or galvanised 2" steel tube types, great 'fender benders' for those who park too close.

I found this place in Cali selling ARB side steps. I haven't called them about their prices, but so far the best I've found. I've been trying to convince the wife to let me pull the trigger on them as she's the one that wants steps. But, getting the ok to spend money is a tough thing to do when we're spending it elsewhere.
