Default Info on 03 D2 LT230 t-case CDL options...

Using a mirror, my case appears to not have a CDL shaft sticking out the top at all.
I would sure appreciate a picture or other options.
Thanks in advance.

You either rebuild your current t/case by replacing the front nose assembly or install an 04 t/case both will require a new linkage also.

Well Ive got an 03 as well and for the best bang for your dollar if you are a cheapo like me is to get the CDL mechanical linkage off a D1 in a junk yard and then either swap an 01 t-case entirely or just swap the front nose assembly.

00-01 would be the way to go because the gears inside we refined for less noise.

But if money is no option. I'd just go 2004 on every thing and get the air shifter.

You do not want to use an old warn out 95 D1 t/case, there have been many many up-dates on those to correct gear and oiling problems.
Even using a early model t/case will give you issues, stay with an 04 and it's linkage.

For only $ 250 or so you could rebuild your along with a D1 shifter.
