I finally got around to fitting and testing the Extinct inline thermostat, and the results were more than I could have hoped for. Using a LR gray thermo before, i would cruise at 188, idle at 193-196. Now, cruise and idle are between 177-183. That's what I expect a 1960's buick engine to run at!
