Well, I went to the guy who does the questionable inspections. First he tried to do a legit hookup and everything worked fine. I'm thinking the other repair shop had an issue, or a brainfart. Maybe the scanner wasn't plugged in all the way. I don't really know, but now I don't care for another year.

For the gentleman who asked, I'm down on Long Island.
