Installed drive shaft/strange vibration
I am going to have mine installed next week so hopefully I will have better luck. I have the summers off and I only have internet at work so I might not get to post an update until the end of the week, but I am trying to get it resolved.
Alright I finally got the thing fixed and now everything is running like butta. I no longer have any vibrations although I have not gone over 80 (I will probably never go that fast anyhow). So problem solved for me at least.
So the exact same thing happened to me. My '00 D2 needed a front driveshaft, I bought and put in a Tom Woods driveshaft, now have a vibration between 75-80mph. The rear driveshaft was removed too because I put in a transmission during this process and was put back back in (the original one).
Now, I'm confused with people saying the front driveshaft ZerKs need to be in the opposite line as the rear driveshaft Zerks... Doesn't each driveshaft spin at a different rate (unless the cdl is locked) and change they're positioning themselves when u drive the vehicle??
If I'm right then I must have missed what I'm supposed to be realigning and swapping 180 deg. Can someone explain to me? (Btw, as far as each driveshaft goes, all my zerks on each driveshaft are in line with each other)
