Default Installed: KC HiLiTES 355 Cyclone LED (engine bay)

I'm not sure why I didn't think of installing engine bay lights sooner. The kit was very nice, came with 2 round LED lights and all the wiring/hardware required for the install. They fit nicely on the inside lip at the top of the hood. Being at an angle they point away from your eyes, directly at the engine. As you can see in the photos, they provide excellent coverage.

That is a nice find I really like how well it lights up the engine bay. Definitely going to be adding that.

Just need to add a gas strut(s) to hold up the bonnet instead of the factory strut!
Nice to see lots of forum-recommended mods under there -- inline thermostat, Carrs4x4 intake tube, and do I see a PCV mod as well?

Where did you mount the switch? Can we get a pic of that?

Isn't the switch at the top left of the first photo? (Near the passenger side of the windscreen.)

The Amazon driver delivered my set yesterday so I'll be installing today! A great addition!

How did you mount them to the hood? Did you take the hood liner off?

OK, mounted mine and they are great! Ran the wiring under the liner, just popped off a few of the retainer clips (used a door clip tool, popped right out) ran the wires down the hood and exited from under the liner on the passenger side. Had to lengthen the wires with wire I had to get to the battery area. Used their wire loom that was part of the kit and hooked everything up. Mounted the switch to the right side of the now empty jack box on the outside. Works great.

See pics.

Provides lots of light (picture shot in a dark garage with only the KC lights on.

On/Off switch on the side of the jack box

Where I mounted the lights (shown with them off).
