I don't think I could live without my sirius radio. I have mine mounted down on the center console right in front of the cup holder. Did you use a direct connect or the FM transmitter?

i have had sirius for 4 years now.

i have a stiletto mounted in my work rig that is viz FM transmitter and the one i just mounted in the rover is directly connected.

it is funny that i was not driving my rover based on the fact that i had no sirius to listen to. thats how much i love it.

I have the sportster 5 unit and have used it through the FM transmitter with no problem while I had it in North Dakota. Got the rover back to Denver and found that there were too many radio stations to use the FM transmitter so I am now going to change to direct connect. As soon as I can figure out how to get the factory stereo out of my D1 I will install. Oh, and get my leaking water pump replaced.

Are you talking about the one that goes in-line with the antenna wire? If so you just plug it into the antenna jack on the back of the radio, then plug the antenna wire into that.

Other than that I didn't see any sort of phono jack in th back. I suppose you could bypass the cd-changer line somehow.

Also, Joe, nice install. My S50 is mounted off the right side of the console and I hate it.

I'll assume you're only kidding in your delivery...

Sirius/XM satellite radio: the merged satellite consumer audio delivery company whose merger was *forbidden by the law that made them possible*?
