Sirius doesn't work in Alaska, at least not well. It works all the way up to the Canada/Alaska border but as soon as you cross into Alaska the signal start getting weaker and weaker. It really scks having to listen to regular radio or iPod all the time now.

I dont think I could live without my sirius radio. I like where you located the receiver. I been debating on getting another unit for my disco but couldnt find a good place to put it. I might have to get another subscription now.

Well yeah, I thought the delivery might be amusing.
But I am serious - never heard of them. We don't have Satellite radio, we only got digital this year!

i dont think i could live without sirius. i pay the 6.99 for the extra radio on top of the 12.99 for my work rig. i only drive the rover a few times a week and when the contract lapsed in the disco one night driving i went nuts and called em while on the road to renew. and in 5 min i was back to listening to a repeat of that morning stern show.

music choices are endless and for the money its one of the best things i pay for.

So it's radio on demand? And no reception issues?

Could be the end of our hour after hour of mindless eyespy games if we ever get it!

As far as on demand its more lik satelite or cable telivision. Theres about 100 channels from country to rock, talk, rap, weather channels and everything else you want to listen to. Reception is great I have gone from Philadelphia pennsylvania to Yakama Washington to Miami Florida and never lost reception other than going through tunnels and never changed the station.

The satellites for Sirius/XM are positioned over the southern US. Even in North Dakota I had trouble at times when I was heading north if I put my magnetic antenna inside on the dash rather than out on the visor.

Odd that it's doesn't go that far north, but my Stiletto worked in the tropic of cancer in the jungle.
