Default Installing Air Suspension...Previous Owner Removed It

I would like to know everything I am going to need and where I can get it please. I know I will need a compressor and bags as they have all been removed and I'm left with a light that reminds me of how it could be. I am also running 275 65 18s on it now with toddco spacers just to get by. In the end what will I need for air lines, shocks, front 2in springs and rear spacers that will give me a good look and comfortable driving on and off the road. I do some pretty serious wheeling but don't want to go any higher than 2in plus the extra 2in in the rear when I inflate the bags.

Unfortunately it looks like they were pretty careless when they removed it. I think I can save the ride height sensors and the plugs that connect to the compressor. But all of the lines are cut and I wasn't sure if there is anything for coil mounts that need to be replaced with air bag mounts.

Also I have ACE.

If you remove the spring perches the air bags will mount to what is left on the axle. No additional parts needed there.

What year is your Disco? Is it an HSE?

Regarding parts. You can probably get most of the parts used in good condition from Paul Grant here on the forums. Hes a Land Rover salvage specialist to say the least and a good reputation on here. Send him a private message:
Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum - View Profile: Paul Grant

If he does NOT have what your looking for then consider Rover Land. A professional business dedicated to good salvaged parts for Land Rovers: Discovery Parts

For new parts I recommend two places:

Rovers North: Land Rover Series, Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, LR2, LR3 & Accessory Lines - Home Page Specials - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

and

Atlantic British: Land Rover Parts & Rover Accessories From Atlantic British | Discovery, Range Rover, LR3, LR2, Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series Parts & Accessories

Another place that specializes in Air Suspension replacement parts and supposedly offers reasonable prices is Arnott, they have a entire section for the Discovery 2 models: https://www.arnottindustries.com/par...id4_pid48.html

Good luck. Glad to see somebody who appreciates the factory setup (ACE, Air Suspension). Welcome to the forums by the way.

curious... if you do serious wheeling, why would you WANT to put that **** back on the Disco?

Because it adds to the excitement when you're halfway through a trail and one of your bags goes out

"To each his own." but I would leave it off if it was mine. The only plus is if you pull a heavy trailer the Disco will tought it like a champ instead of squating down low in the back. They really dont help with anything else. No real extra benefit off road to speak off. Maybe a little better ride but I doubt it would make enough of difference to justify the all the headache of installing and maintaining. If you do though, make sure you buy the Arnott air shocks. Superior in every way and available at Advance Auto.

Air suspension dramatically improves ride comfort, and with a new set of air bladders, he/she will be good for quit a while before the bladders have to be serviced again. If he/she lives in cold climate then just keep your eyes on the bladders, check em every 5 months or whenever to make sure theres no cracks. Some argue that air suspension can benifit even during off-roading. Raise it up when you need the extra clearance, and back down when your down. Also makes it easier for passengers entering through the cargo bay door if its a 7 seater. For even better ride quality down grade your wheels from the stock 18's to 16"s and combine that with the air suspension and you'll be driving around like a Monarch. Cant get more comfortable than that for a Sport Utility Vehicle But again to each his own.
