Default Installing Magnecors

I got my 8mm magnecors in. I'm changing them out after work today. Any tips? I've looked around the forum and found some stuff. I'm looking for some last minute, don't do this or remember to do that type stuff. Thanks

as you pull the existing wires, match each one up to the new one as close as you can,
work methodically, and double check when done that everything is correct.

If you are mechanical remove the upper intake manifold, if not just take it slow and try not to get too frustrated or hurt by falling off your engine. In case you don't see jyscalas' attachment here is the firing order

Or by hurting your fingers...those are some tight spaces!

A simple hint: Wires used on the left cylinder bank are to be little longer than the ones used on the right bank, meaning Cyl. 1 will be little longer than Cyl. 2, Cyl. 3 longer than Cyl. 4, etc. Reason: The left bank is offset forward from the right one.

For the price you think magnacor would not be so stingy with the length. IMO each wire needs to be about an inch longer.

Actually, I just recently purchased a set and the wires were about an inch longer than set I got 2.5 years ago. It was really a trick to make them work. The last set was OK.
