Default Instrument cluster board replacement

Hello, I'm new to the forum and thanks in advance for the help.

I have an 00 Discovery II. The previous owner "solved" the three amigos by opening up the cluster and ripping out the LEDs. I've fixed the actual problem (shuttle valve seals) and would like for these lights to work as designed (because I like things to work as designed, even if annoying at times). Is it possible to replace the circuit board with one from another Disco II? The speedometer is the issue I'm thinking of, that if the mileage doesn't match it will blink or immobilize.

Thanks!

You can solder another led on to the board.

It’s a very tight spot and very small solder points. Have you done it? Advice please

I have soldered on circuit boards before, but have not had the guages out on my D2.
I would get a junkyard cluster, heat the solder on the junkyard board, and remove the led with tweezers.
Then hold it on your board, and use a very small amount of solder to reinstall.
There are various threads here pertaining to getting the odometer not to flash with a different cluster or ecu.
I think that can be done with a Nanocom, but I am not sure, as it's been a while since I've been reading about it, and so far have not had that problem myself.

With a T4 you can even disable the flash odometer setting so it will never flash.
