Which green bulbs? If I am not mistaken there are 3 "big" bulbs and 2 small available for repacement from the back, not more. The 3 big ones are for lighting the panel in general, one of the small ones is for main road light (blue I guess).
And to be honest I do not find the main light of the panel hideous. It is perfect for driving in the night as new leds are by far brighter, which makes my eyes sore after half an hour of night driving.

But if somebody confirms how to get to the inside of the panel without damaging anything, I will continue with my quest :-)
Can you post a picture of what you are looking at? You should have it dissembled enough to tell if the LEDs are still there or not. I guess even if they are there, they aren't working...

Honestly I would just replace the cluster. Get a good used one, pay a local indie rover shop to resynch it and be done. Probably will cost you $75 for everything, but you'll have everything working as it should.

Actually I ordered a new used instrument panel.
Do I need to resync it? What does it mean and how to perform it?

You need to synch it with the ECM/BCM. You can do it yourself if you have a hawkeye, nanocom, or similar. If you don't have one of those, just find a local indie land rover shop and they should only charge like $25 to synch it depending on their labor rate. Takes like 5 minutes, but most shops have a half hour minimum.

You might be able to find another member close to you that has something that can be used to resynch it.
